Trunk or Treat?

Tonight, the church had trunk or treat. For lack of time, Keith decked Gracie out instead of our trunk! We had a great time!! She's got to be the sweetest pup ever!!

She LOVED all the attention!! Some of the kids fogot we were giving candy! They only wanted to pet the dog!

Hope you all have a Happy, and safe, Halloween!!

Highlight of our night...

Every day when I get home from work I am greeted by my husband Keith, and our sweet pooch, Gracie. She just about knocks me down because she knows what awaits. For the past several months, I have been walking her in our quaint neighborhood. Sometimes Tammy or Keith joins us, and sometimes it is just me and the girl. We have gotten to know most of the people in our area and everyone seems to love her! We know why...she is one special pooch!! I'm putting some pictures I took tonight. You can see she even has a few friends of her own kind!! Hope you enjoy!

Birthday Fun in Winona!

Keith and I spent the weekend in Winona with my parents. My brother, Nason, his wife, Amanda, and their children Harrison and Marin came up for lunch. I think we all had a good time. The weather was perfect and the food even better!! We were celebrating my Daddy's birthday and Amanda's birthday.

Keith blogging...

...this is where my paycheck comes from. I work for Aurora Flight Sciences, a builder of unmanned aerial vehichles or UAVs. We are a defense contractor/subcontractor and build unmanned aircraft and components for the military and have rockin' time doing it! What's cool is that these things are made of carbon. That's charcoal to you, but it's a high-tech building material to us. This is the Global Hawk RQ4A UAV, and if you're a bad guy and need to be found, it WILL find you, no matter where you are, day or night. Hello, Mr. Bin Laden! We is comin' to get you!

That's me in front of the vertical tail section of the Orion long endurance aircraft. It's huge. That tail is two and a half times my height. I also built the stand it's resting on. The stand is about five feet tall, to give you a size reference. It took about seven guys to stand this sucker up.

Booyah. That's all.
The Light Eagle. It's a human powered (pedaled) airplane made up of stuff like styrofoam, balsa wood, mylar and glue. It's tough though.

First Blog

Well, here I go...Never done this before, so please be patient with me!! Thought I would give it a shot since I love looking at others. And I thought it would be a good way to send some pictures to the family! Well, to start it all off, I guess I will tell you a little bit about ourselves. Keith and I have been married for a little over 1 year. We have a rescue dog, Gracie, and two cats, Cobie and Patch. We, or should I say Keith, are restoring our home that we bought in January. It is a 1950's home that needed some TLC. He is doing a great job! I'm attaching a picture of what he just finished. He stripped and re-painted the closet doors in our bedroom. I think they look beautiful!!!

The trim work has been done, so I'll have to get a better picture.

This past Friday, Keith and I went to visit The Wampler's! We had a blast!

Then, on Saturday morning, I decided to take Gracie to the pet parade downtown. Tammy met us there and we had a ball...or should I say Tammy and I did. Gracie was very unsure about what in the world was going on! And she got really hot!

Well, that is all I have for the moment! I'll try to do my best to update often and maybe I'll get Keith to do the writing! He is much better at it than me!!!
